It's a 2006 FX4. I guess I can always take the VIN to the dealership and ask them too.

Alright so after spending $300 for the Accel's from Summit i find this thread so i'll be returning those one they get here. My question is does everyone still stand behind the Ebay brand for $1__ or should i pay the $200 and get the Accel's from Amazon?

I can't testify to them yet as mine are on the way. However the more searching I've done, the more I was convinced. The only thing I will note is that there is a chance you could get a bad one in a batch. I don't know how prevalent that is and in fact I didn't see anyone post that actually got a bad one. But it doesn't make sense to spend th extra money if the ydo the job. The only advice I'll pass along is that some people said if you're worried; buy the ten pack.

No one builds a more reliable coil than Ford. Every aftermarket COP has a higher failure rate than the Ford COPs. I got burned by Granatelli COPs and I'm sticking with stockers from now on.

That may be true but ALL 8 of my COPs are shot, and if I have to replace all 8 of them every 60,000 or even every 40,000, I'd rather pay $100.00 a set then $400.00 a set. Unless i'm replacing them every 15,000 miles (and that doesn't seem likely) for the aftermarket ones, I'm ahead of the game. If these all fail in 20,000 or 30,000 I'll come back and eat my words.
