Since its used exclusively for food production, it qualifies as a spih providing it can't be used also as a commercial or personal motor vehicle - disabling the higher gears renders it unable to maintain speeds over 40kmh - thereby classifies it as a "slow moving vehicle"
also, we had a worker get drunk and drive like a maniac in the orchard - he forgot to stop when he crashed through 2 barns nearly killing 9 ladies in the packhouse - we've been removing the high gears since 1970 on our farm - slow and steady does it!

OK fellow sodbusters - disconnecting vss vehicle speed sensor prevents transmission from shifting to the higher gears - so long as selector remains in DRIVE position - can still select 2nd and 3rd gear manually, so a simple stop on the selector lever prevents manual shifting to 2nd and 3rd -

vehicle has no speedometer now - but there's no speedlimits I can break in 1st gear

My f150 is now a LEGAL self propelled slow moving implement of husbandry - -
happy farmer

ok - goin back on my plough
