Control Arm vs Spring= Leveling Kit
So my upper control arm keeps hitting my spring. Ive had my leveling kit in for about 2 years but just recently its been pretty loud when i hit a bump at a certain angle/speed. My spring is a little worn but the mechanic i go to said its fine and not to worry about it other than the noise being a pain. He also said that my whole front end is fine because he went over it as well.
My question is would anyone know if there is anything i can do to fix this. I just recently put bigger tires on my truck and im thinking the extra weight of the wheels and tires is what made it louder/worse.
Thanks guys

sounds like you might need new ball joints or something it shouldn't be hitting like that and from what you said you had it for a couple years and now they are wearing out which is normal for leveling kits to do that how big is the leveling

the only time the arm should contact the spring is at full or almost full extension. if your getting a clunk from normal driving it's probably something else. id start by checking the balljoints and also check and make sure the mounting nuts on the top of the strut are tight and also the center nut that holds the strut together.
