Default Contacting Ford CEO's?

Can anyone tell me where I can find there email address or fax info? I have issues with a local dealership that's not going well at all. Ford says it's a workmanship issue and I have to take it back to the same idiots that screwed my truck up. This has been going for two months and $2000 later, no progress. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Malcolm

there is only one CEO in a company and i highly doubt alan mullaly can help...why dont you go to a different dealer? have you talked to the service manager at the offending dealership? Instead of being ambiguous, expand on the problem, it and idiots dont help solve your problem.

I have 7 pages of issues. I have already spoken with the Service manager, the owner of the dealership and Ford customer service on 3 occasions. Ford filed a complaint on my behalf but wont do anything else since the dealership is independently owned and operated. They say I need to take it back to the dealership, however two months later, $2000 spent and my vehicle is still a piece of crap. This started with the infamous spark plug change. they broke several of the plugs off, had to remove both heads to get them out, ripped all the connectors off the sensors(yes they didnt use the release tabs) ocoolant in the oil(didnt changed the oil after the head removal, i drove off like that not knowing until later, yes pinging, but really metal on metal) and currently my vehicle is sitting at another dealership. that kinda sums it up. I hope that helps you answer my question, ut just pisses me off more!

The only time I had an issue (BMW X3 "no start" issue), I asked the dealer service manager for the area service rep. Actually, he gave it to me, as he and his service techs were also stumped. The area service rep made all the calls nessesary to to transfer the vehicle to another shop which specialized in these types of "advanced" problems. They (BMW) covered all costs of moving the vehicle, and provided me with a free rental. They never did find the problem, and after 1 month, offered me to swap to another X3 or to opt out of the lease. I opted out of the lease.

For your situation, even if the dealership is privately owned, I'd think that you should be protected somehow, as that dealership is a Ford, and was bought by that dealership from Ford. You seem to have the backing of another dealership stating that the repair of the truck was faulty, and causing your current problems. Do you have this in writing from this second dealership? If not, request it. Then, go back to that first dealership that did the faulty repair, show them the paperwork that indicates the repair is their fault. If you have no satisfaction this way, let them know you are taking legal action.

As long as you have the paperwork from a second Ford dealership stating that the repair from the original Ford dealership is causing your problems, I'd see this as an open and shut case.

It may cost you more money up front for legal council, but you would win this case if these facts you state are true.

Your correct. I'm currently searching for a local lawyer. I tried the Ford rep request at the first dealership. They told me the Rep said nothing. Can you believe that? However, the second dealership actually contacted the a Ford rep and he gave them a list of items to check/verify. Amazing! I've submitted a complaint with Ford and the BBB. I'm just trying to get my vehicle fixed in a timely matter but it's not working. This is so sad!

It indeed is sad, especially in this current state of GM and Chrysler closing dealerships. While Ford seems to have a handle on preventing bankrupcy, you'd still think they would be bending over backwards to keep their current customers happy. Apparently the dealership that did the botched work on your truck does not understand this.

Unfortunatly, it looks like you have to involve a lawyer. Does this original dealership know this? Perhaps if they know you are persuing a lawyer, it makes them take a second look....

Or for some reason, they don't care. I don't understand why they are not wanting to make good on the repair. What is their side of the story? Are they claiming you did something after their repair that could have caused your current problems? Maybe they think that Ford should pick up the repair tab for the faulty plug issue and aftermath rather than them (dealership)?

Well, I've paid the other dealership to diagnose the issues and they found additional items that were broken. They cooncur with the workmanship issues from the previous dealership. The original dealership believes or has said that my driving habits aren't normal. LOL. The main problem happens around 4k-4200 rpm or under load. So to recreate the issue I use half to full throttle since I'm not going to take my trailer to the dealer. First they said i was hitting the rev limited, then it was the top speed limiter and I disproved all those ideas by staying in it with the mechanic in my vehicle. At about 4800 it smoothes outand continues accellerating. Between 4k-4800 is where my check engine light flashes and or stays on. Its the P0305 error. All items have been replaced(coil, plugs, injector) twice.
They said I can bring it back so that the owner, service manager and I can take a test drive to see if its valid. I'm not going to start all over again. The dealership its at right now has done all the diagnostics that the previous dealership should have done. So whats the point? They dont have any mechanics competent. For instance, they pulled several connectors off with pressing the release clips. So all my connectors are broken and were just pushed back on. Would you let a dealership like that do rework on your car?

im sure you dont care to hear it man, but this is exactly why when a warranty is done I go to a little guys shop who needs to put food on his table and keep you coming back when you need a mechanic...they have to make a name for themselves.
perfect examples of why domestic companys are suffering and honda and toyota have flourished in north america. its all about customer service.

Your absolutely correct! I really like my truck! My truck is the only reason I'm still with Ford after being treated the way I have. Ultimately, my truck may not be enough to keep me as a customer!
