I have the stupid jump seat center console and i want to switch it to a fx4 center console with the floor shift. My question is i dont want to switch everything up to make the floor shifter function but i don't want it just sitting there staring at me. Can i remove the shifter and replace it with a piece of plastic or cup holders. Has anyone ever done this before?

 

I've looked into this as well, but from what I understand, the dash doesn't come out to meet the console if it didn't come with one. You would need to redo your dash as well to make it look correct.

 

Yeah i just pulled up a picture of one and it seems the radio housing flairs out. Im bummed out i wanted a plug and play. Is there any other alternatives??

 

Look into an XLT console. They are roomy like the flow through consoles and it replaces the jump seat. Remove jump seat, install XLT console with the same holes/bolts and done!

 

I was thinking about one of those. Where can i get one besides ebay or clist.

 

Keep an eye on the classifieds on this site, and you can also post a wanted to buy ad in the classifieds here too. You can get a good buck for your jump seat, probably somewhere around 200 bucks if its in good condition, maybe even more if its tan. What color its your interior?
