Are those to different types shown uninstalled?
I had not really looked at the blacked out ones, but with my truck being black, maybe that would look better.
I also THINK I would like an LED row over the angle eyes. I have AE's on my M3, and to me, they just seem to fit a smaller vehicle better than a large truck. In fact, that's the entire issue I have, is while the projector lenses look good on a small vehicle, they seem to look out of place on larger ones...
I guess this is like any other mod (lift kits, loud exhaust) you don't really know if you like it until its installed, and then it too late

Yes, there are 2 different headlights shown in those pictures. Last 3 pictures are the same set.
I agree with using a larger shroud. It looks more clean that way, but even the medium sized ones cover a decent amount of space.

Everyone has their own taste and some people can't stand the look of projectors on our trucks (I believe that's in the minority though), but I believe they look great.
