Hey all,
I have 2 2006 f150s, one is column shift the other is console/floor shift. I am taking the cab from the console/floor shift truck and putting it on the truck that that had the column shift. My dilema is the transmission linkage. I assume I will need a different shift cable for one and for two, the way the cable connects to the transmission is different on both trucks. One is a 5.4 the other is a 4.6 not sure if that makes a difference. I have done some searching and stuff but haven't found the answers I need. I don't need to worry about making holes for the transmission cable or any of the dash wiring or anything because I am taking the whole cab which already has all that.
