I think it is.. next time you go to start your truck just tap the key to start and let go..

Finally remembered to check this yesterday and..... I do just tap it to start and the truck will finish. I feel fancy now! I always loved the way my dads 2014 Ram did this and was kind of jealous but not any more!

You have reached the Elite...lol so, we know 07/08 do it... wonder if 06 does it... somebody with an 06 chime in..

I had an 08 with 5.4 and it did not have tap to start.

OP I sold my 08 long ago now....but it never hung up even once in the time I did have it.
Actually other than many rear brake problems and a bad battery it was a great truck.
