cold air intake question

wondering if an 08 cai off an fx4 can fit on a 05 fx4?

Should fit fine..they are both 5.4's, correct?

yes they are both 5.4L is there anything else i am going to have to do so they fit

Make sure your not going to need a tune with the intake you acquire.

On 3V modular motors some "cold air" intakes require a tune to not throw a code. The MAF cant keep up with the new air readings, so it needs a new mass air transfer function.

Find out what model make/model the intake is and google it.

Wow.. i have a 2010 with the 5.4L 3V
Looking at a cai on ebay.

Might hold off for now after hearing that
