Default Click, click, click..

So I've been having this "clicking" sound coming from my truck. Seems to be coming from thee back, possibly just the passengers side. I don't have a video yet but it sounds like a wheel at a carnival that spins around and hits the clicker, except slower. It only happens when going from take off to maybe 25-35mph. It doesn't matter weather or not I hit the brakes. I can hear it coming to a stop and in traffic. It speeds up when I speed up and slows down when I slow down. I'm wondering if it's something to do with the emergency brake parts breaking up inside because I have heard of that being a popular thing. Let me know what you guys think. Hopefully I can jack it up and duplicate it sometime this week.

It may sound crazy but is there a rock stuck in your tire tread.

I really hope your lying and or wrong. There are enough things with these trucks that are just "popular things".

Spark plugs, cam phasers, etc. (you get the picture). I love my truck to death, but that love hasn't come easy

Edit: When you say emergency brake.. you did mean to say parking brake right?

Check all the silly stuff first, I had a piece of rebar wire stuck in my caliper once and it was tapping on my wheel, I spent too much time trying to think of possible problems.

Wow lots of possible options to check! Thanks guys, tomorrow I'll have some time to check out all those things out and report back. However, it isn't a rock in the tread because I did check that out. Gonna pull the wheels off, jack it up, etc. tomorrow.

Well I wish I was but this nifty gadget that the Forum just introduced from AllData tells me so..

Look at the 8th one down, "Brakes- Vibration at 45mph partial brake release.."

Well Fellas.. heres the verdict:

Pulled off both wheels, and couldn't duplicate the sound. SO, I took the passengers side brake caliper off- Seized up completely and the rotor was all tore up. Brake pads were about gone. Pulled the rotor off, and emergency brake parts started flying everywhere! The arm that the cable pulls had came off and fell inside, the brake shoes, in which have like a pad on top of them, well the pads fell off when I pulled the rotor off. Needless to say, I yanked all the emergency brake parts off of it and cleaned it all good, stuck the rotor and brake caliber and pads all back on until I can get all of these parts on Monday! I did test drive it for about 20 mins and tried everything that made it "Click" before, and it was gone! I guess it was the emergency brake crap just having a party inside my rotor.

-Brake Caliber for the passengers side
-Brake Pads for both sides
-Rotors for both sides
-Emergency brake shoes/hardware kit for both sides

Im ready to drop about +/- $400
