AND - you need to do something about it quickly. Misfires DUMP unburned fuel into the exhaust. The 'specific' technical meaning of the flashing CEL is that "the misfire rate has exceeded the catalyst damaging rate". It _WILL_ ruin your cats pretty quickly if it persists.
