I found this storage box at home depot that has separate lidless containers in it. They really fit nice in the console and has totally fixed the organization problem. When i get home I'll post pics of what I'm talking about.

I had the same problem with the center console in my 88 F150, it had bucket seats with a large plastic center console that was at least 24 inches deep and about 18 to 20 inches wide. It was a catch all for a lot of junk. BTW, is that a fork i see? LOL!

Yup I even have a 12v lunch kit that heats my food up to smoking hot temps! I spend 10 hours a day in the seat of my truck.

I like that I may have to implement that course of action... You know what would be awesome, in combination with the organizers in the bottom if someone could create a removable flat pan that fits in the very top to store small things that you might want to not have to reach into an abyss to get access to

Here ya go. Bought this at Home Depot after seeing it on another site, cost about $13. Take the storage containers out of here and put 'em in your console. They also help with the storage in your door pockets. Best 13 bucks I spent in a while!

Tailrace: bought a 2013 KR 4x4 last weekend. Been searching the interwebs for suggestions on organizing the center console. This is a great idea. Heading to the depot tonight to pick one of these up.

That's the exact same kit I use to store all my 3/4 and 1/2 sweat copper fittings... That's also a good idea using those bins in the center console. They are great storage cases for the price. I might have to pick up another one!
