Do a search ....there was a good thread with plenty of input and pictures a few months back. Here's one (look at pics on page 2) to get you started:

Seems like I saw a discussion with pics on it as well.
I guess you will mount the cb wherever it will fit best. I always ran my ant. wire out from under the dash and through a rubber gromlet in the firewall. HOWEVER, I was using a magnetic ant. on my 04 supercab and when I was leaving Reelfoot lake in Tenn. and on the way home, a terrible rain/lightning storm appeared. The lightning was verticle and it hit my cb ant.,killed the truck, took out the dash cluster,cb,battery and altenator. The inside of the truck smelled like ozone. The cb ant. was on the ground. There was a dent the size of a quarter where the ant. had been. Luckily a buddy was in another truck behind me and he took me to a Ford dealership ,10 mi. up Interstate 55. Had to leave my truck there for two weeks,my insurance picked up the tab,$3100. I never had a problem with that truck but I traded it for an 05 a year later. I quit using cb radios when I got hit. If I travel with others we use handheld fm radios,NO MO antennas for me. I always had used 102" whip, look cool going over a dune.
