09 Bed extender in 08 Bed ??

I was wanting to know if the 09 swing out bed extender will fit in the bed of an 08.

I have the flip kind but want the swing out and wanted to know if it will work or not before I buy it.

I don't think it will work. The 09's are wider than our 08's
