Default CB radio

i just sold my jeep wrangler and got a 04 f150 lariat with the center console, and i am looking to put in my cb radio, a Cobra 75 Wx St (can view here: http://www.eurekaboy.com/f250/cobra.htm)

i would like minimal profile so i was thinking of putting the microphone/speaker on the side of the center console next to my leg.

any info on how to wire this baby up would help, the unit where the antenna comes in has just the ground and hot wires. what's the best under dash location for this and how do i find the a connection place on the turck for the hot wire?

thanks

your best bet is to tap into your cig lighter for power.

what antenna(s) are you going to run?

You can get a much better CB for less than what that cobra will cost. I went to a CB forum thinking about getting that CB you listed and they highly suggested a Uniden 68 saying it is a better unit and the range is much better.

I love my Cobra 29 LTD classic. She has been peaked and tuned with a connex board.

you beat me too it, I was going to say that.

the best part is that you can get them off of ebay for 30 bucks if you look for a while.

Lol I get accused of being a Base Station ALL the time. Then I get accused of having a Linear... I have to convince them I am barefoot.

I need to do some more reading, It sounds like you two are talking in polish to me...

I wouldn't mind a new CB with all of the bells and whistles, but its not in the chips right now.
