Default Catalytic converter replace

I've done it once before... 2005 f150 5.4 - any tips to make it as easy as possible to replace the driver side cat? I'm just waiting on warmer weather.

I sprayed Deep Creep on the manifold bolts and on the bracket that connects the DS cat assembly to the PS cat pipe, in the middle of the truck, to help loosen.

• Disconnect the O2 sensors
• Unbolt manifold and middle pipe bracket bolts
• Cat assembly will loosen and be movable
• Rotate, wiggle etc and move it toward the rear and downward to remove

Will take a bit but it comes out.

MAP torch will be your friend on the bolts. A dremel to cut them would be your best friend.
