Cargo light

Does anyone know if it's possible to wire a switch to your cargo light so you can turn it off and on when you please and still have it turn on when you open the door. I have an 06 fx4

Doesn't the cargo light come on when you turn your dome lights on with the dimer switch? Mine does.

Yeah if you turn your dimmer switch all the way up the dome lights come on as well as the cargo light
