Capped factory wiring/hose for a feature your truck doesn't have

Looks like a vacuum line for the 4x4 system.
Is your truck 2WD?

It is 2x.

Thanks, it looked to be ok other than flopping around.

I am having an issue and thought it may have been it.

I can duplicate it easily,

Entering the highway, at about 30-40mph, if I WOT, it will not shift and at top RPM will throw check engine for about a mile and be bogging the whole time. Light will stop, not illuminate, and drive "ok" feels like mid-range power is lacking. Check code and it will show P0305

Wut I have done:
Changed COP from #5 to #1/ problem stays P305
Changed fuel filter> P305
Changed all plugs (only broke 3) >P305
cleaned TB and MAF sensor>P305

That was my thought as well. When I was cleaning the TB I found the item in the picture. It looked "OK" but thought it may have snapped off something.

I just read the "bog, moan" thread and mine looks worse than this one https://www.f150forum.com/f4/bog-dow...4/#post5185160

Nah, vehicles generally leave the factory with the wiring/hoses for all available options. it'll simply be plugged or capped if you don't have it.
Do you mean your filter box looks worse than that one?
