Default Can a 2WD clear 35's with...

... A 3" lift? I know it would fill up the fenderwell and give slight rubbing on turns but what actually stops guys from putting 35's on their 2wd's?

You'd rub pretty bad and it would be major stuffage but if you can live with it go for it.

Hmm... I am debating purchasing an extra set of 17" F150 wheels or cheap steel rock crawlers to put these tires on so I do not have to worry about having wheels with no tires laying around.

35's are so much cheaper in a 17" from what I have found. Also alot more possibilities.

See what i dont understand is that before i put my level on my truck 2wd i had 32.7" tires that didnt rub at all, I wonder this same question because now that i put the level kit it seems there should be enough room to clear 35's.. I have been looking at different tires and my bfg's are too new to replace so it will be a while before i can find out but i would also like to know whats the biggest tire someone has on there 2wd with as level...

Why not try a 34" first, say a 295x70x17. That may fit without rubbing.
