Just got my truck into Firestone to have the wheels aligned, I get back 3 hours later, they aligned everything but the camber...? I guess the 04-08 F150's do not have camber adjustment? Does anyone know about that? Because the tech suggested a camber kit for my truck. And I do see an ever slight degree of camber in the wheels if you look closely. I don't know what do you think?
Thanks
You can buy the camber kits on Ebay, Amazon or your local parts store. I believe they are easy to install although I have not done an installation.
Depends on how far off your camber adjustment is as to whether or not you really need it.
My old '91 Ranger was off (right from the factory) but always had even tread wear so I didn't install the kit. Went over 200,000 miles and never any odd wear.
So, if your tire wear is even, leave it be.
I seriously hate seeing all these threads about the need of camber kits. Your truck does have adjustment for camber. A camber kit on our truck does not add more adjustment. The only thing it does is make it easier for the tech to do his job.
Also caster is adjusted from the same spot as camber. So all they did was your toe, which shouldn't ever really be off unless you change the suspension. My guess is the tech tried for 3 hours to get it right but couldn't so blamed it on the need of a camber kit. An alignment for just the toe should take about 2 minutes.

camber and caster is done with adjusting the upper or lower control arms in or out away from the frame. Toe is adjusted with the tie rod. Most f150s camber is adjusted from bottom. I've seen a few with camber bolts but 100s without. If you can get the wheel lever up and down just adjust the bottom out 10 to 15 thous. I've always had good luck that way.

You replied to a 9 yr old post. I would think that they've either figured out their issue or sold the truck all together.

I bought a camber bolt set a few years ago for the next time I do it. Was about 2013 I set caster and camber and lastly, toe on my '07 after lowering it a couple inches "plus", I made "stop blocks" then that prevent the bolts slipping in the slots afterwards, they have pins that lock in the holes.
Clean copy of picture here.
Like I said, one day I'll use the camber kit.
