I thought the same thing about Callahan, but I didn't want to say anything in case I was wrong :-) is there a particular brand you fine folks would recommend for what I'm looking for? Where I am, for some reason the RockAuto catalog won't load!

What's it say on the box? Because, well... Tell you what, I can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking my head up a bull's *** but I'd rather take the butcher's word for it.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

*sigh* I feel good for accidentally bringing folks together and giving them a laugh, but I'm nowhere closer to finding awesome calipers! I think I may actually drop the $700-800 for Power Stop calipers, pads, and zinc-plated rotors. They seem to be making people happy.

I know this likely doesn't help much but I'm not the type of guy to test brands out and they are either untested on this forum or unpopular.

Hang on, and I'll get you a link to some info...

Here's a recent thread about upgrading, although it's confusing in places, you can get the info you need there...

I'm wearing a kelly green Callahan Auto Parts shirt right now. Didn't think the company existed outside of Tommy Boy

$800 doesn't seem bad at all for all-new brake components if they're better than stock.
