Default Callahan brake parts - any good?

Hey folks. I'm looking into getting better calipers for my truck and I found this on Amazon, but there are no reviews. Is Callahan a good name / are these good parts and just a great deal, or is it something I should stay away from?

Calipers, predominantly.

The rest in that package is just bonus equipment since all I have on there right now is OEM stuff.

I skimmed through the add, where did it say those calipers were upgrade over OEM? I am trying to be helpful. It does look more like a rotor upgrade package to me.

Try gooling F150 and callahan rotors and calipers. I have read a few good reviews.

You're right, it doesn't actually say that. I hadn't noticed that before. Right now, I have nothing but stock everything. I want calipers that don't break like that phenolic crap Ford is using and can also hold up to heavy frequent towing. So far I've had to replace both of my front ones because the pistons have just shattered. Rotors and pads are easy, but predominantly I'm looking for some good, beefy, DURABLE calipers.

Well glad I helped, because to me, thats way to much for that kit. I have read that Callahan rotors are good. I used Rotorpros on my F250 (slotted and drilled) and just requested a quote from them. I cant help with a better caliper upgrade, sorry.

Wasn't Chris Farley the President and CEO of Callahan Auto parts where they make brake parts?

Glad I'm not the only one! Sorry I couldn't contribute something useful other than a free bump!
