Default Cai wow!

hi all, just installed a K&N cold air intake today, and got on the highway, and what a difference. When I went to accelerate the 4.6 Roared! Sounds about the same as stock around town but when you hit it- It does come alive. going with a Cat-back this spring for sure.

Good to hear! I'm looking into one, had my truck since '09 and still running stock filter setup.

Cool. Ya it was real easy to do to. This is the forth Truck I've owned and the First CAI. Should have done it to the others to.

Not telling what to do but I would at least take a look at the volant and the s&b cai. They have enclosed filters instead of exposed like the k&n.

X2 It seems filtration efficiency, actual cold air intake, and air fuel ratio alterations get largely overlooked when getting an aftermarket CAI. The "butt dyno" feelings seem to over ride logic.
