Ok here's the scenario. Had my ac unit replaced and am noticing that when you switch between Max ac and norm ac nothing happens. Also, not sure if its related, but kinda notice when I apply the brakes it kinda sounds like a faint Cat meow. Only seem to get the meow sound when the ac is on. Possibly some vacuum line??

 

Do you have auto climate control? If you do (Auto button with a green LED on the left side face plate) and it's on, it will override the recirc (Max A/C) setting. You have to turn it off (select a manual setting) to get control over air recirc.

 

No. I don't have that. All I have is the A/C button and the recirc button as well as the other controls.
I'm wondering if there is some sort of vacuum line under the hood close to the firewall that could have been overlooked causing the max side of the ac to not work. I do believe it worked fine before the new unit installed.
