I have a flowmaster super 44 , edge cs and gotts mod on my truck and can do burnouts. Which that has gotten me in trouble with the cops because of that. Try putting the truck in 1st gear when doing a burnout, that is what makes me able to do them.

Once I get my SCT tuner installed I'm going to give it a shot with each OCTANE level until I can get at least one burnout. Once I've done it, I will likely never do it again, I just want to know that it's got enough power to pull it off. I'm really not into trashing tires or putting stress on the trucks mechanical that is unneeded. If I'm unable to pull it off I'm going to be very disappointed that I spent all this money on mods!
Also just realized this went in the wrong forum, but I appreciate your responses.....

I've always gotten rolling forward slowly, hit the breaks hard and get the *** end weight more off the ground then give her all she's got lol. That gets them lose for me

hahaha I wouldn't want to do it with my F150 personally... if I were going to do it, I'd probably buy a beater for a few hundred bucks (my buddy let his Ranger go for $350) then smoke them. That way if I blow something I don't feel as bad hahaha. It's bad enough I've done it with my Can-am Renegade 1000 (not any better for that thing either - although only done it once with the stock tires).

you'll be able with an SCT tuner on 87 octane. just installed mine last night and found out by mistake this morning. Granted this is Canada and in December it's cold enough to freeze the nuts off a jeep ....but the road was clear and dry

I have the 4.6l & SCT turner, stock tune, haven't tried a burnout
Not interested in doing one, glad my truck has the traction it does
I had an 84 Cougar XR7 turbo, standard & before that a 78 Monte Carlo 5.0 that I had a guy tune up, new intake, carb etc
Very easy to do burnouts in those cars
I've had my fill....just be aware that the Police can write you up for it
Not that I found that out....
