Default Brush Guard

I searched the forum but couldn't come up with much. It's looking like I'm going to be getting into an '04 Lariat SCrew 5.4L 4x4 w/ 103k miles here in a week or two. I drive a 97 4.6 4x4 right now and have a huge steel brush guard on it. I was looking for something for the front of the new truck. I've seen some with the police style push bumpers up front that I liked and just a simple cattle pusher that just covers the grill, no, not the little flimsy westin bull bars. I was looking for something sturdy that I would most likely want to put some lights on or a 36" LED bar. Any ideas or pictures? Thanks.

Here is an unkown brand brush guard on an xlt. I bought it on CL for 250 and it had a metal grill installed infront of the grill but I removed that.

Before extra grill removal.

I am thinking that the way the bars are shaped infront of the stock grill that a hella light grill would look really cool for some extra lighting.

Sorry was sick. The guard is a ranch hand that I cut out the middle honey comb and repainted. It's a strong guard and it retains the tow hocks.

I kinda like it, I just don't know that I'm sure I like how it covers the lights. I'm more looking for something that isn't huge, like the police push bar.

The Ranch Hand is definitely one of the sturdiest brush guards in my experience. If your looking just for a push bar, you could try the police grade kind. I was looking a while back and there are some w/o the lights. You can give them a call and talk to them about getting one. http://www.fleetsafety.com/push-bumpers/

I got mine on eBay it is a brand called hunter I like mine. If I remember it was 200 bucks. I got it installed it. And also added a front receiver and still managed to keep my factory tow hooks a few months after I installed it I took out a mail box an sign pole wih it. I know. It was that or take a van on head first. This guard bolts together so I was able to listen it up and re align everything. I had to replace the round tube by the lower bumper I replaced it with a solid bar I made at work It works well for me. And like I said this things bolts together so you can put on what ya want There bars that tie in under the grill they jeep it from shaking like the one I had on my ranger did And I used ss hardware and threw away the stuff they sent with it
