broken spark plug question

Default broken spark plug question

I got 7 out no problem and the last one broke. My question when i was searching all the pics i seen were one with the porcelain broke off and mine only the metal sleeve stuck in the head. Will the lisle tool work for this?

Yes. In fact you will only need half of the kit. You wont need the "press" part to force the porcelain down, just the sleeve and the left handed extractor.

Yep, that's exactly how mine "broke", the porcelain came out and left the metal sleeve, used the lisle tool and had it out in 10 mins.

ok thanks. problem is i didnt get one before hand and now i cant find one auto zone, advance, oreilly, napa dont have it. i was able to locate a couple through friends of friends but i cant get any of them til tomorrow . Looks like ill be bummin rides tomorrow
