Default Brakes

After much debate and research I have decided on what to do with my front brakes. I am going with Centric Premium front rotor and hub upgrade kit and Centric Fleet Performance brake pads. The pads are the same as Stop Tech Street Performance pads. What are your thoughts?

You need to talk to truth.
He had some good posts about after market brake components.
Past that, the question would be why are you changing?
Have you found your brakes to be inadequate?
Are they worn out?
Do they no look cool enough?

I am taking truth, there is 45,000 miles. The truck is like a vibrator when I apply the brakes coming off the highway, and yes I do find them inadaquate, and I am getting regular replacement rotors not slotted or dimpled. It has nothing to do with "looking cool". And who the F... are you to question me like this? You don't even know me?

Yoko I think he said you need to talk to truth(truth is someone on the forum). That's just what I'm getting from what he said.

But he does not need to be questioning u like that either lol. I agree. We all do what we want with our trucks. Me for instance will always love plain ol rotors and brakes I get from oriellys they have been wonderful for me for 105000 miles.

I always get the orileys brand rotors and a mid grade pad. I had ceramic one time and theu kept warping the hell out of my rotors. Everytime I pulled a trailer around for a few days I had to get my rotors turned. Went back to regular pads and no more problems.

After reading it again you are right, he did mean speak to" Truth". I guess I need to apologize to him for that. I still don't think he needed to question me like that.

Wtf?
Dude, calm down.
I tried to help you like a friend.
You need to talk to truth, weenier.
He's an awesome brake guy.
You asked for advice but did not give ANY reason for why you would like to change your brakes.
Now that you have stated you have crap brakes, I would ask why you have decided to go with particular setup and not OEM?
But now I feel that you are not capable of having an intelligent conversation on the subject and I will now withdraw my offer of help and or advice.
Thanks to those who stepped in on my behalf.
Noobie kneejerkers....

Lol Goober you crack me up! Yeah he might have been questioning him, but it was just a way to get more info outta him to help him further from what I could tell. At least he was helping him and not the good 'ol "Do a search n0ob" line that people like to throw around.
