Brake problems...HELP!
I am having some issues. I was having the steering wheel "shake" so I replaced my brakes and rotors both for the front and back to cover my bases. I ended up having a stuck caliper in the front so I replaced both front calipers as well. The shake isn't as bad but is still there and still very noticeable. Any ideas on what I could try next? I have a 2008 F150 XLT 5.4L.
Brake problems normally cause pulsation and vibration in the brake pedal, not the steering wheel. I'd be looking at other causes.
Not to bust your chops, but there's a decent chance the stuck caliper was self-inflicted, it's easy to damage the ceramic pistons on the OEM calipers.

If you're sure it's break related and your rotors are brand new and straight then the only other thing it could be is a bent wheel. Imbalanced tires won't shake based on breaking. Front rotors that are not straight can be felt in the steering wheel for sure, and the break pedal - but where or how you feel a warped rotor depends on the vehicle - size, weight, break type, etc - generally speaking vibration felt only/while breaking is either a warped rotor/drum or a bent wheel. Not much else is going to cause it.

So, a bent wheel is what you want to check next. A bent wheel can cause rotors to warp, and also cause uneven wear on your tire. Did you smash into a curb or anything like that to bend a wheel? A good tire shop will be able to measure and/or inspect for a bent wheel while it is in the balancing machine - or you can lift your truck and spin the wheel to try and see if it's bent.
