Default Brake problems...HELP!

I am having some issues. I was having the steering wheel "shake" so I replaced my brakes and rotors both for the front and back to cover my bases. I ended up having a stuck caliper in the front so I replaced both front calipers as well. The shake isn't as bad but is still there and still very noticeable. Any ideas on what I could try next? I have a 2008 F150 XLT 5.4L.

Brake problems normally cause pulsation and vibration in the brake pedal, not the steering wheel. I'd be looking at other causes.

Not to bust your chops, but there's a decent chance the stuck caliper was self-inflicted, it's easy to damage the ceramic pistons on the OEM calipers.

If you're sure it's break related and your rotors are brand new and straight then the only other thing it could be is a bent wheel. Imbalanced tires won't shake based on breaking. Front rotors that are not straight can be felt in the steering wheel for sure, and the break pedal - but where or how you feel a warped rotor depends on the vehicle - size, weight, break type, etc - generally speaking vibration felt only/while breaking is either a warped rotor/drum or a bent wheel. Not much else is going to cause it.

The wheels should be balanced. I haven't had them checked because there is no shaking unless I hit the brakes. An unbalanced wheel is usually when driving not braking.

The bad caliper would not press in when putting it back on. There should be no fighting a caliper when pressing it, so I replaced both the fronts at the same time. They were pre-pressed so there shouldn't be any way to damage the piston inside.

So, a bent wheel is what you want to check next. A bent wheel can cause rotors to warp, and also cause uneven wear on your tire. Did you smash into a curb or anything like that to bend a wheel? A good tire shop will be able to measure and/or inspect for a bent wheel while it is in the balancing machine - or you can lift your truck and spin the wheel to try and see if it's bent.

I haven't hit anything. There is very minimal shake when I'm at highway speeds but it is almost unnoticeable. I'll have the tires balanced and have them check for a bent rim in the process. Only so much that could be left to replace.
