Default Which Brake Pads

I have 2006 F-150 and want to change pads to get away from all the dust. Which is better ceramic or semi-metallic, and where is the best place to buy online

If i remember correctly, ceramics take a little longer during the braking process to heat up. So take that into consideration if you tow sometimes. But i think they almost completely eliminate brake dust. Correct me if im wrong.

Yes, the ceramics reduce dust about 92.5768128362036%. I put some on my old car and what a difference no more dust.

Go for the ceramics and I've heard good things about Hawk pads. Never owned them myself though. But I will be replacing my pads soon, and plan on trying them out.

I'm running power slot slotted Rotors and Hawk racing pads. The braking distance is awesome but HOLY CRAP HAWK PADS ARE DUSTY!! Every 4-5 days my rims are getting a nice brown film on them. My dad had Hawk pads too, they're great just really dusty so he went to a different kind of pad, forget which ones though.

Do you know which of the Hawk pads you purchased? I've spoken to many that say their Hawk pads are virtually dustless.

I had to go check the Hawk Website, Green box = LTS Light Truck and SUV Compound. I bought the LTS. even then it says low dust but that's a complete lie.

The PC Yellow box ceramic ones very well could be dustless (Performance Cermamic). I'll give them a try once these wear out but it looks as if that's not going to happen for ahwile. I just had new calipers put on the front because both front ones were seizing. Yet the pads aren't worn down at all with the seized calipers.
