So my ABS light has been on for while but my brakes have been fine so i didnt worry, but then just yesterday my brake warning light came on and i flipped thinking i wouldnt be able to stop... thank god apparently in ford when that happens your brakes still work. But on the serious side what could have caused this? i checked brake fluid and lines and all seem fine. Could it be some sensor?

Any imput is greatly appreciated.

Sometimes if your spinning some, then braking they will come on. It's hard to explain

 

oh okay, nah i wasnt doing any of that. I just rebuilt my tranny and of course more goes wrong..

 

check your battery fluid my alternator went bad last week and due to it my brake light came on and abs light
