Default Blue lights?

I just got my 2004 lariat screw about two weeks ago and was wondering where I can get blue bulbs for my headlights and how much will they cost?

Contact the VENDOR on this site that sells HID. I just ordered a 12k Bi-Xenon kit. "Did he say a 12K kit? "

Why yes, yes I did! Lol. I wanted blue. I got the 8K kit in and they seemed to be just a slight hue of blue to the white. I want noticeable blue, and will take pics when it comes in on monday. The kit he sells is so simple yet so beautiful in design. The harness is what makes the kit worth it. Bi-Xenon shipped = $110 (Thats HI/LO HID Lighting). Hope this helps!

P.S. HOUSTON AREA MEET - Sunday 3/14 10-1030am @ Bay Brook Mall (Before we go to Galveston/Crystal Beach and play in the sand).

Don't forget the TIME CHANGE is this weekend as well.

FYI, Kelvin (K) is a measure of color temperature, and does not mean thousand like in kilometers or 100k miles.

I assume you mean 12000K, isn't that purple?

If you don't want to go HID, just search ebay. I got a set of 8000K bulbs for my heads and fogs and am very happy with them. They add a blue tint - I would call it an ice blue - but the lights still look mostly white when seen head on. I think they were about $19 a set and had a lifetime warranty. One of my fogs burned out after about 6 mos. I mailed it back like they said and got a complete new set.

Once you get into the 12000k bulbs the colors can be changed. Purple and Blue are the most common, but there are pink and green hues as well around that temp.

I asked for a 10k kit, but they said it went 6k, 8k, then 12k. I plugged the 8k in and it was just white w/ a hint of blue. Some manufacturers' 12k is a true blue, almost iceberg. I actually had an 8k fog light kit that put most ppl's 10k to shame. Different manufacters have different specs. I have this problem w/ my DLP. I know its a TV, and not auto bulbs, but just saying bulbs can differ.

I'll post pics of both the 8k and the 12k when my kit comes in on monday.
