Default Blend Door Question

M noticing when I start my truck I hear a clicking behind the radio and sometimes it takes several minutes to get cold air from the AC. Do you think this is my blend door going bad? Is this the one that only costs $30 or so. I've seen videos of how to replace it I'm just wondering if it may be the cause of the clicking noise. I have all electronic temperature controls as well as dual temp if that matters. Thanks.

Good question...I don't have that answer...I have single but, if you go to say rockauto.com and look up the motor...it may give you a left and right option or at least tell you what you need for your application.

I'm a little late to the party about this and was wondering what came of this? I too have the ticking noise and am wondering if it is a sign of soon to be failure. My vents are electronic and seem to work for the correct positions.... It also appears that it is the one on the driver side.

Cheers
