I think it would look good.

I like the painted emblems and tinted tails.

i dont like chrome that much in my opinion
it belongs more on a caddy than on a truck
i like painted all one color
it'll take me alot alot alot of guts to do all that, the rims, emblems, tails, n running boards though. im gonna give it time hahah

The emblems and tails cost about 25 bucks so I would knock that out if I were you. The rims I would have powdercoated and I have no idea what that cost. You could also paint the running boards but take your time and make sure you use a primer. The headlights and mirrors can be done by yourself also.

So everything but the wheels your looking at way under 100 bucks!

PS I might make a write-up of the mirrors sometime, once I get time to paint mine.

are you painting just the caps or the whole mirror assembly white?

i would definitely go powdercoat on the rims, n maybe on the running boards too.. u have to sand down the chrome right?

Yea, just the top mirror cap.

Sanding the chrome is a must.

Thumbs up My 2 Pennies

I was on the fence at first...undecided. But the more I went back & forth between the 2 pics, the more the Blacked Out grew on me.

I don't know...

Would I be asking too much or would it throw off the 'flavor' too much for a few lines of red to be painted on the rims? Just like some highlights?
