2005 f150 lariat supercrew. Under the rearseat on the drivers side there is a black plastic box mounted. Its the length of the seat and half as wide. I cant figure out how to remove it or open it. I bought the truck used and have no idea what this thing is any help would be appreciated.

 

its your subwoofer, it has 3 screws and its free, one on the edge by the door, 2 in tihe middle

 

Ok, do you know would there be an amp in this truck somewhere, behind the seat maybe. I have no paper work on it and it was a private sale. Thanks.

 

its on the plastic sub box too, there is a small plug that plugs into it...remove the plug and it all comes out as one piece
