So i was reading about the 5100's and on the rear it says you can do 1" of lift and the front up to 2". so you can also lift the back with these? and anybody buy these on ebay from offroad warehouse and if so how much?

no. they are saying they will work on a truck with up to 1"-2" of lift. Shocks absorbers have nothing to do with ride hieght. Springs do.

You are incorrect on this M&D. Bilstein offers the 5100 Series "Leveling Shocks" That provide you the "level" not a "lift". Take a look at the site below. this explains it the best of all the sites i think

It uses the stock spring with c clips to adjust the position of the COIL SPRING to level the front. So how would you lift the rear end with one of those?

from what i have seen the 5100 series front struts are the only ones that claim to provide any "increase" in suspension height. they just bolt in as replacements in the rear without providing any "lift" in the back.

They are both correct in a way. The 5100's actually can raise the front of your truck 2" by changing the spring seat to give you the level/lift your talking about. The rear are just matching shocks and don't actually lift it any. Its just saying if you added a 1" block that they would still work.
