Default Bilstein 5100s

I have searched this and can't find the answer I was looking for. I will be having the 5100s installed on Monday and will have 295/70r18 added to my stock fx4 rim. Being that is truck is 4wd will the 295s fit with the Bilsteins at the middle setting or will I need to go up to the full 2" setting. I want it to be level but not nose high. I have read some threads where people say it is best not to go to the full 2" because of bad suspension angles but wasn't sure if that applied to the 2" lift or a more aggressive 2.5-3" lift.

I tow a boat quite a bit in the summers so I would prefer the middle setting if the 295s would fit. Anyone running that set up?

I'm running 295's with a Tuff Country 2" spacer on stock 17's on my '06 4x4. My back still sits about 1/4" higher than the front. Even so, they don't rub anywhere (no trimming at all) and I feel like I could've gone with a little bigger tire and still not had any rubbing issues so I think you'll be fine at the middle setting. Hope that helps

I just decided to go at the 2" setting, well worth it. I still am about 3/4" higher in the back, which I like. Truck rides awesome and quiet compared to the poorly rotated mud terrains that were replaced.

This is the gain I got from the Bilsteins and 295s. Next to a stock 4x4.
