^True, I should have qualified my comment. Its a point to make sure you buy CS or CTS that's already been converted PHP's Gryphon, even if you don't plan to run custom tunes right now. I'm surprised Edge hasn't extended more effort to help PHP with the whole Fusion Software problem, it seems mutually beneficial to both companies. Maybe its wishful thinking that they'll get something figured out?

^^^ I'm totally with you on that. This situation is causing PHP enormous grief, and giving Edge a bad name. It does not help that Edge's parent company MSD went in and out of bankruptcy recently, and changed ownership - again.

I suspect that they really do not care much for a very small company like PHP. It's not like Bill didn't try - Edge/MSD has a lot of programming resources that could have been brought to bear on this issue and resolved it quickly.
For this reason, I'm not recommending Edge products to anyone. If they can care so little for one of their reselling partners (and the feller that wrote most of their original software), then I'm not convinced they care one whit for the lowly end-user.
Shameful conduct.
Ah well ... SCT has far better end-user tools and datalogging technology.

If anyone is looking for a backstory Bill lays it out rather simply here: http://forum.gopowerhungry.com/gryph...ts-programmer/
I'm on board with you MGD, I just wish SCT looked as good sitting on my dash... The PID measuring capabilities and heads-up display of the CS and CTS is nice I use it more than my truck's gauges. Had I known what I was doing a year ago I'd have purchased the Edge CS Insight and an SCT to carry the custom tunes. That seems like the best of both worlds.

Amen, Now to find some poor unwitting soul to buy my CS...

I've seen some feller retrofit an SCT Livewire TS into a CS/CTS pod.
The new SCT X4 has some nice display capabilities, but I really am not a fan of windshield stick-cups!
I run a Scanguage II daisy-chained with a locked EVO fer gauges, and use an SCT handheld fer custom tunin' & dataloggin'.
good luck
