Default Bed removal tricks

I am wanting to remove the bed on my 05 super crew. I see 2 braces on each side front and rear of wheel wells a tube coming out of the bottom of the bed going to a canister mounted on the frame so is that and my 3 screws inside the gas cap and the torx bolts inside the bed all there is to disconnect before removing the bed

The reason I am doing this is to replace the fuel pump. My truck will not accelerate when towing and if i am on the highway and go to pass someone when i "floor it" the rpms go to 3000 and it has now power until i let off of it

Whoa! Hold on there! Are you sure it is the fuel pump. Do you have any misfires, does it have a rough idle? Have you checked the FPDM or the fuel filter? How have you diagnosed this as a fuel pump? There could be a cheaper solution.

I would first start by checking the Fuel Pump Drivers Module. Search it on here its a very common problem. It is located up above the spare tire. You will need to drop the spare to check it. They corrode out and cause a lot of similar symptoms of a fuel pump. Much cheaper too!
