Default Bed Liner on Plastic?

I'm tired of my FX4 black plastic turning light grey. I want to rhino line my fenders, door handles, mirror caps, grill, bed caps and bumper step, and wiper cowl. Any advice? Do's and Don'ts? Should I remove the door handles and mirrors?

Have you tried "Back to black" made by Bondo...you could also paint them...or even plasti-dip them

I like the stuff too. My only complaint is that you have to continue using it every month in the summers of Florida and Texas.

The plasti-dip sounds more like a permenant solution. I may try that. Does this proccess use heated liquid that the parts are dipped into?

That back to black lasted about a day on my truck lol...my rockers are plastidip'd and look as good, and black as the day I did them.

If you decide to go bed liner dont use Rhino lining, use a high end product like line-x. Line-x has built in UV resistors, plus the finish is a lot nicer then the runny paint look of Rhino.

I've tried Mothers Back to Black and it lasts about 2weeks here in Oklahoma. And I've heard of alot of problems with plasti-dip. I was looking for a more permanent solution that would be tough and long lasting.

krylon fushion!!!!! the only way to go. i use back to black on pilars only now. painted all plastic, including cowl, mirrors and handles. holding up great and i live in vegas and park outside and its been 100+ degrees since end of may and still no fading. just make sure you use long strokes when painting so it comes out even.
