I ran a switch in the cab and I like that the cab light aren't on when the bed lights are. It makes it handy when you want to get something out of the cooler I thought about mounting the switch in the bed but I have a cover and didn't want to take the chance of leaving the lights on all night. So I ditched the switch it came with and got one that lights up when it's on. hopefully I can't miss that. Either way you do it you won't be disappointed
