There are four of the lights on each bed rail, each "light" has six smaller bulbs in it similar to the LED maglites if you have seen those. They are LEDS. The strip of lights is four feet long, im not sure on the wattage but they cant need very much at all.

From the maglite i just bought and the brightnes of it im expecting a lot of light. These lights have almost 50 LED bulbs so i expect them to be very bright and one of my best mods so far i hope.
I'm getting them installed tmrw so ill take some pics when its nice and dark hopefully showing what these lights can do, but im afraid that my camera wont pick up much of the light.

where are you putting the switch?? Did you think about adding it on the dome light circuit? Then you wouldn't need a switch and if your dome light is on for your outside cab light these would be on with it... just a thought.

There was not a switch in the kit nor were the instructions. So when i run it buy the truck store tmrw ill ask them to just run it threw the cab light and 3rd brake light. Im going to call recon and make sure im not missing something tho.

Yeah get your running shoes ready

I can't see a thing in that picture from the shadow. Are they mounted on the underside of the bed rail (top). can you take a better picture with more light as well as a night picture to show how bright they are. Also if you can take a picture to show how they routed the wire.
I'm going to put that new camera of your's to work
