Default bbk headers and high flo cats?

So the bbk headers I want come with resonators. I'm going to get magnaflo high flow cats instead, but was looking at the ones that would replace the front two. They come in at an angle or something I'm not sure. If I go with the bbk longtube headers, do I have to go with those replacement high flow cats, or can I by other straight angle high flow cats? I wanna do my exhaust right the first time

You should be able to run straight high flow cats with long tube headers.
Check out www.stainlessworks.com and dynatech for long tubes... I didn't even know bbk made long tubes for our trucks.

So far I've only seen bbk and pacesetter that have made longtubes. Now that I got my programmer I figure I can get away from the shortys and go with longtubes for full powerband performance

I'm not sure where you are finding BBK long tube headers for our trucks. The only ones I have seen are shorties and for the 97-03. I would look into pacesetter, OBX, stainless works or dynatech. I have a set of pacesetter long tubes sitting at my front door that were delivered this morning. I will be putting on magnaflow high flow cats directly after the headers

What kind of high flow cats did you get? Could you provide a part number? I found some pacesetters on eBay for 272 and I figured now I can use universal cats but I don't wanna choose the wrong ones.

I'm going with Magnaflow 94136's because they have the O2 bungs in the cats. I got the Armor coated Pacesetter's because the painted ones aren't even high temp paint and will rust quickly.

I agree. I have seen BBK headers for the G-Body cars in person and they look like an amateur welded them together.

Stainless Works and Dynatech are the best headers you can get for our trucks.
