Had some stereo equipment put in my 04' f150 STX and they had to unhook the battery cables, now as I'm driving and go to slow down my truck will stall and the battery light will come on. It has done this before and I took it to the dealer and they fixed saying due to the battery being unhook the computer had to "re learn" the battery, well that was when I first got the truck so I didn't have to pay for them to fix it, I was told it would clear itself up in a week or 2 after it completes a "full driving cycle". Also heard if I put the key and turn to where I would start it but not start it and leave the key there for 20 minutes this would re learn the battery to the computer. Anyone done this or have any suggestions????
