Default Battery Dead ??

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum but I have a question about the battery. Last Saturday I turned my truck radio on and left the doors open while i was installing my grill, I know dumb move! So after an hour and a half or so the radio cuts off and the battery is dead. There was a slow turnover but it did start up. All week i noticed when i started my truck it was kinda slow to turn over so i knew something was wrong. We had a cold front come thru yesterday so when i went to leave work it was a REALLY slow turnover but it did start and maybe its just in my head but it seemed to run skind of sluggish as well. And of coarse this morning, it would not start, like the battery was dead!. I guess my question is, are these batteries this sensitive. I am pretty sure the battery was new when i bought my tuck certified, even if it wasnt, i am having a hard time believing that the batteery is done after letting it die one time. Any input from you guys, because i dont want to shell out for a battery, lol.

You never know when a battery will give up. It may even be the charging system. Many places will check the for free. Autozone is one.

I have seen batteries that make it through being run dead and others that just dont. Id pop a new battery in it and I bet you are good to go. Even if it is ok now. as the weather gets colder and colder it will be hard on what is remaining in the battery. Id shell out a few bucks now and get a battery. I have always used good ole walmart betterys when the time came and never had a problem. just check the date on the battery and make sure it is fully charged. get the bat then take it to an Autozone-type place and have it tested.
