12 mpg with 33's is bad mpg? Haha. Sounds about right mine with 35's gets 16-17 at 60 mph. Otherwise 13-14. With programmer driving nice. 10-12 pulling car.

If you just got the truck. I'd check the air filter...look over ignition area. Clean throttle body and MAF. And reset the battery. Theres a link in my signature to help with MPG issues

Can you post the link? I can't get to yours. I'd like a little help. My 05 gets about 12-13 city.

With smaller tires I was getting 13.8 dead pretty much at slower speeds and upper speeds around 80. Recently I moved to 295/65/18 tires and dropped to 12.4MPG. Waiting for my tuner and hope to see 1-2 gain on that.

Mine is 04 Lariat 5.4 with 77k miles.

33s without a tuner, i just ran a 10 and 15 gallon test, both came in around 10.4 mpg. This is driving about 30% highway 70% local. varying between nothing and about 500# in the bed.
