Default Backup lights

hey everyone, need help finding a solution to seeing at night. I can't see squat with factory or led lights backing up. I was thinking of adding a led flood light mounted under the truck. I don't want it visible when looking at the truck. Do you think I could get one bright enough to make a difference? Also could I just tap into the trailer harness without blowing a fuse as I want it to come on every time I put it in gear. Thanks

I would get yourself a set of good Led lights that don't draw much and tap into the reverse light wire going to your 7 pin plug then ground it. I had this set up with a non led light and it was good but I'm sure with LEDs it will be great there is also another thread on this.

Thanks, I am hoping to not do all that wiring, so I will try the first option and see if I blow fuses. I think the led will give me light without drawing too much power.

I bought a pair of led lights off Amazon. Really bright so I only used one.
Grounded it to the bumper and spliced into a reverse light wire for power.

They are bright because that is as many lumens as one headlight.
