Default Backup camera in tailgate handle

I got a tailgate handle with the camera hole. I put the a camera in it I got off Amazon but I can not see my hitch. I wanted the camera to be able to see the hitch. So I'm wondering if anyone has this setup and if the can see their hitch. If so what kind of camera? Thank you

I think you have to look at the degree number and go with the widest degree or I should say highest number on the degree spec. It still may not see the hitch though because of where its at. Can you pivot it at all to adjust your angle?

Good information. I was looking at that style too. I may go with a receiver mounted camera.

The tailgate handle where the camera mounts doesn't angle downward?

Like this:

If not, get a camera like this, they are under $20 on ebay and get good reviews:

I have the tailgate handle camera housing like my buddy summers posted up there.

This is the picture from my H/U

You can see the ball right at the bottom. Works great.

The camera is a cheap 170 degree. I'm sure there are others like it:

I bought a cheap 170 degree camera and I can see the hitch. I guess I'll have to go with one that swivels. I was hoping to stay with one that is flush.

My ebay cheapo arrived today but its a different set up, non swivel I think but I don't care about my hitch..... so I think. Looks like I might end up getting the other set up and maybe one for my wife. To this day she refuses to use her side view mirrors, she does'nt trust them. ha ha. Shed rather just scrape the curb and call it good
