Going rouge and voiding the warranty! At $700 for that HU I'd be demanding Pioneer take care.

Pioneer just got back to me.

"Sounds like an install mistake. I suggest taking it to a professional and getting them to rewire the whole unit"

Well I hate to say it both the last two you had (assuming you installed both) had the exact same problem. Did you ground the camera to the frame or the negative wire from the reverse light?

See now if the other stereo had stopped working when I did something with it, I'd for sure blame myself. The thing is I didn't touch he damn thing, it worked flawlessly for well over a year. It just stopped working all of a sudden. So I figured the connection inside the stereo came loose over time because like with this one when I moved the plug around the picture would show up.

I hear ya. It's weird. I doubt the last one was how you hooked it up since it worked for a year plus. On this one did you ground the camera or hook to the negative? I believe they are to be grounded to the frame. Just a thought.

Well. I decided for ****s and giggles I'd try replacing the whole RCA cable. The plug works fine now. Having issues with really bad video though. I'm assuming that's because I had to splice two RCA cables together so I'm on the hunt for a 20ft RCA cable now.
