Default Back up Led recommendation

I was thinking of putting some back up LEDs on my 2004 FX4. Don't know what brand to look for and don't want to spend hundreds of dollars either. Browsed Ebay but got overwhelmed. I would prefer something I can turn on/off with a switch rather than directly into my reverse lights. I'm looking for a complete kit. Any suggestions and costs ? Thanks

Amazon Amazon

The link above provides some LED reverse lights that i purchased for my mark lt. They are probably 5-10x brighter than the old reverse light and really helped with reversing, my tint doesn't help the situation.

I would maybe suggest these just as a cheap improvement and see if it makes a difference you can live with.

The ones listed above are junk. No offense at all.

Look into Diode Dynamics, Acme, or even Sylvania Zevo 6000k will be high quality for only $25ish. Diode Dynamics will run closer to $40.

Don't waste your time and put cheap LEDs in there. It's just not worth it.

While I don't recommend them cause I've had issues, even JDM ASTAR (on eBay) will have something better.

They are cheap and so far have lasted over a year. They provide plenty of light for someone looking for a cheap alternative. I'll agree there are many other reputable manufaturs of LED. Find the socket you need and maybe go for a brand name like above mentioned if you have a lil more money to spend.

For $22, the LEDs i listed above are a steal, even if to just test out.

The link you posted aren't for the correct bulb. Our trucks take 3156 for reverse lights.

Not trying to nitpick everything you post, I promise!

And since you changed the link, I take back what I said. Those Aaron brand LEDs seems to get good reviews and are bright. I've heard good things. They're $23.

I have these. They're not much better than the OEM bulbs. If I had to do it again, I'd go with some quality cubes or small light bars under the bumper. I cheaped out and got what I payed for.
